Last Friday, I spoke to Sarah Penton of CBC Radio West about the increase in substance use during the Covid-19 pandemic. We discussed why we are seeing the increase, how to know when it becomes a problem, and tips for drinking less.

The segment starts at the 30 minute mark. Here is the link: Substance Use & Covid-19

We also spoke about the new free service being offered by the British Columbia Psychological Association. It is called Psychological First Aid and is open to anyone in the province who is experiencing stress, anxiety, and uncertainty during these times.
